Let it go

If something is bothering you, it is often good to get it out of the system, and you can do this with a single tab on Let it go.

Your quality of life will be affected if you can’t say nevermind. You know what it’s like to go through a lot of negative thoughts. You can either continue with a bad gut feeling, and at the same time ruin your surroundings, or you can choose to say: “That is a little annoying, but I decide to say Let it go and move on,” and at the same time, give your ‘Let it go app’ a quick tab.

Get rid of your concerns

A single tab on ‘Let it go‘ and your worries are sent out into nothingness so that you are no longer burdened by them.

»Saying Let it go is perfect in impossible situations. If you have an irritated temper, you need to be able to say nevermind. Or if you are the type who easily gets a bad conscience or is upset about things, then you should also use the phrase.« Psychologist Marie Aagaard Larsen stated this to Samvirke.

Use the ‘Let it go’ app as often as you like

The ‘Let it go‘ app does not wear out, so you can use it as often as you want. According to Marie Aagaard Larsen, it is a bad habit that we sometimes ponder problems that we can do nothing about.

A good practice is to look at the situation from someone else’s point of view: “We are our own worst critic. Therefore, consider what you would say to another human being who had made the same mistake. If you were to say, ‘Never mind, don’t think about it,’ others would probably answer you the same thing,” she says. To get better at something, you have to practice. Tabbing the “Let it go” app is training yourself to get better at saying Let it go.

When not to use let it go

You have to remember that saying Let it go are not always appropriate.

“We have to sort things out. One should not go into the other ditch and say Let it go to everything. It would be an empty life without taking a stand on anything. It’s not like a person dies, and you just have to shrug your shoulders and say goodbye.” Says Marie Aagaard Larsen.

Also, every time you have used ‘Let it go,’ of course, consider whether you can change something another time so that you do not end up in the same situation again. For example, remember to insert the parking disc. Or put the milk further in on the table if you tend to push it on the floor.

The important thing is: Learn from the mistake, let go and move on.

Based on the danish word ‘pyt’

The Let it go app and concept are based on the Danish word ‘Pyt.’

Danes are some of the happiest people in the world, and they also happen to have a lot of cool words for ways to be happy.

You may have heard about “hygge,” which has been the subject of countless books, articles, and commercials. Often mistranslated to mean “cozy,” but it really describes the process of creating intimacy.

But another word, “pyt” was recently voted the most popular word by Danes. Pyt doesn’t have an exact English translation. It’s more a cultural concept about cultivating healthy thoughts to deal with stress.

Pyt — which sort of sounds like “pid” — is usually expressed as an interjection in reaction to a daily hassle, frustration, or mistake. It most closely translates to the English sayings, “Don’t worry about it,” “stuff happens,” or “oh, well.”
